How to help
All members must bring their current Boys & Girls Club card with them every time they attend the club. Their card is their passport to all the Club’s activities. Members without cards will not have access to programs. Lost cards may be replaced for $1.00.
One of the purposes of the Club card is to allow members to check out equipment, games, and other Club items. When a member checks out equipment with their card, they are agreeing to be responsible for the item they check out. When a member is finished playing, all equipment must be in the same condition, as when it was checked out. Parents will be responsible for the cost of damaged equipment.
Visitors and Guests
Anyone between the ages of 7-18 is invited to visit the Club. All guests must check in at the security entrance. All adults must check in at the security entrance and be prepared to provide proof of identification. Guest will be buzzed inside the facility.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of La Habra does not tolerate any behavior that takes away the rights of other members or Staff. Club members are expected to behave in a respectable manner. It is the primary responsibility of the Staff to ensure a safe environment for all members. Any other matters will be referred to the Program Director. Infractions of Club rules may result in losing Club privileges and/or temporary or permanent suspension from the Club.
The telephone is for emergency use only. This applies to all calls coming in or going out of the Club. Examples of emergencies are: a member is not feeling well, a member needs to be home and his/her ride is more than 30 minutes late, a parent must unexpectedly change arrangements for pick-up.
A Club member who has not attended school, due to illness or truancy, may not attend the Club that day. The Club has a schedule of the school’s minimum days, pupil free day, etc., and will be open to the members on these days.
Open Door Policy
The Boys & Girls Clubs of La Habra’s main site has an “Open Door Policy.” Members must sign in when they arrive. However, they are free to enter and exit the facility. It is imperative that parents/guardians instruct their child as to whether or not they may leave the Club. We do not encourge members to leave the facility.

Members will be transported by authorized Boys & Girls Clubs of La Habra’s Staff member to the La Habra Police Department, if the member is not picked up by 6:45 pm
